Preferred Financial Services collects information from client and consumers necessary to facilitate the debt settlement process. This information may include, but is not limited to, the following items:
Full name, maiden or married name, social security number, home address, home phone number, work phone number, cell phone number, date of birth, bank account information (including account number and/or balance), creditor information, and occupation.
Preferred Financial Services understands and realizes the sensitive nature of this information. If Preferred Financial Services records a phone call, all parties involved will be notified and will provide verbal consent before the recording begins. No call will be recorded without all parties agreeing to the recording. Preferred Financial Services will retain the recordings in a secure environment at the main office in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Preferred Financial Services will not provide a copy of the recordings to any third party without the express written consent of the client.
Preferred Financial Services issues a disclosure agreement to each and every employee to ensure that the employees understand and realize the sensitive nature of the information collected. A copy of the signed disclosure agreement is included in the employee's file.
